Mmmmmm...chocolate...mmmmm...Nutella...mmmmm...

...Happy Valentine's Day!
Did I mention that I love Nutella? Right from the jar? No? For those few souls unfamiliar with Nutella it is a yummy, creamy chocolatey hazlenut spread that is wonderful on toast, bagels, english muffins, croissants, french toast, french bread, waffles, strawberries, and on and on! Made by Ferrero, Inc., the same company that makes those hazelnut candies in the gold foil wrapper, each jar has over 50 hazelnuts, no artificial colors or preservatives. Originally from Italy, you can read more about the history, and nutrition facts at http://www.nutellausa.com/, as well as enter to win a case of Nutella! 12 jars of goodness...I already entered!

My first acquaintance with Nutella in crescent rolls was several years ago when a sweet neighbor very nicely delivered them one morning. I unsuspectingly thought they were just crescent rolls...until I took a bite...warm, soft chocolate goodness oozed from the center...and I was hooked. I have since served these at coffees and brunches, welcomed neighbors, farewelled friends...and just spread the joy...and this morning, a little chocolate breakfast treat for the family.

They are sooo easy to make it's embarassing.

You need...
...a jar of Nutella, and a can of crescent roll dough. Unroll and seperate the rolls; place a spoon of nutella on the wide end of the crescent roll.
Roll up, seal the ends so the Nutella doesn't ooze out, and bake at 375 degrees 10-12 minutes or until a light golden brown.
Like this.
Soooo yummy!! Enjoy!! And have a Happy Valentine's Day!
